By downloading, installing, or using CarSight ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. Service Description
CarSight is an AI-powered vehicle diagnostic tool that uses artificial intelligence to analyze photos of car issues, look up OBD-II diagnostic codes, and provide maintenance recommendations. The App is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
2. Important Disclaimer
CarSight is not a substitute for professional mechanical inspection or advice. The AI-generated diagnoses, repair suggestions, and cost estimates are approximations based on the information provided. Actual vehicle conditions may vary. Always consult a certified mechanic before performing repairs, especially for safety-critical components.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any diagnosis or recommendation provided by the App.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use CarSight only for its intended purpose of vehicle diagnostics and maintenance planning. You agree not to:
- Misuse the service by sending inappropriate or non-vehicle-related images
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Circumvent any usage limits or security measures
4. Subscriptions and Payments
CarSight offers free and premium tiers:
- Free: Includes 3 AI photo scans and limited features
- Premium: Available as a monthly ($9.99/month) or annual ($79.99/year) subscription
Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store. Payment is processed by Apple. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. For subscription management, visit your Apple ID account settings.

5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of CarSight — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are the property of CarSight and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CarSight and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising from or related to your use of the App.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App's premium subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Privacy
Your use of CarSight is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your data.
8. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the App.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to CarSight at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
